Nokia College Tour - From Here to Awesome - DIY Workshop

This is a little update to let people know what I’m up to. In this video I mention how I’ve just moved out of my loft and am going on tour and then I invite people to check out the Nokia College Tour, From Here To Awesome and the DIY self distribution workshop we are doing at Boston university at the end of May. And then at the end I tease a little something going on with Four Eyed Monsters. Questions? Comments? Just post a response below…

    That all sounds awesome. I really wish I could attend any of those talks.

    Overall I’m just glad that the production of a single indie film branched into you guys doing all of this. It’s so amazing to see artists spending years learning processes and become professionals at what they are doing, and make it a priority to consistantly pass on their knowledge inspire other aspiring artists, and make that knowledge available to as many people as possible. :) *hifive*

    will From Here to Awesome continue in 2009, and the years that follow, or is it too early to know?

    From Here to Awesome is designed to be an on going entity but will evolve and serve what ever need is most critical at the time. Right now we really feel discovery and distribution need help so thats what it is all about, this summer showcase distributing 10 features and 10 shorts all over the world as part of the festival and giving all revenue back to the filmmakers. But in the future it will explore raising funds for you movie and new forms of capturing, editing and displaying your stories.
